EVALUATION REPORT ON VISIT TO INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL UNIVERSITY , BUKIT JALIL CAMPUS

The IMU visit trip group are welcome by a talk host by Dr. Gan .

Members are then divided into groups , and the staff in blue are explaining roughly
regarding the theory class .

The staff is giving some explanation regarding practical class .


Members were happily enjoying the refreshment prepared by IMU .





Overall Evaluation
- A visit to International Medical University(IMU) , Bukit Jalil Campus was organized by
pre-medical society.
- There are 34 attendees ,1 committee member , 1 teacher advisor and 4 Taylor’s
councillor .
- Bus provided by International Medical University was arranged to the destination.
- There is 3 campus tour lead by the person in charge, Ms Ooi Su Yin , Senior Marketing
Executive of International Medical University.
- Group pictures were taken there.
- There is a short tea break in IMU for the members.
- There is a short talk about the criteria and information for entering IMU.
- Interesting experience shared by IMU lecturer.
- 4 of the Taylor’s counsellors, Mr Ian Chia , Ms Nazihah and Ms. Siti joined the visit to IMU
with our group.


Problems/weaknesses
Planning stage
- Long period of waiting time for the reply from International Medical University.
- Registration from students.

During Event
- Delay of time due to long travel distance.
- Delay of time due to traffic jam.
- Delay of time due to marking the attendance.


Suggestions to improve
- To confirm with the person in charge more early before the event.
- Advertising the event through members to their friends.
- Post up posters earlier to seek for attendees.
- Travel half an hour earlier to the destination including time taken for marking the
member’s attendance.

Achievements/milestones
- Have a good relationship amongst member of Pre-Medical Society.
- Have a good relationship with the person in charge of International Medical University.
- Have a better understanding of being a doctor in terms of mentality, spirituality and
physicality.
- Have a better understanding of the criteria for being a doctor in many aspects.


What we have learnt
- Working as a doctor needs passion as well as communication skills.
- Learn a lot to communicate amongst member.
- Willingly to work harder in studies to be a doctor.
